3D Optical Profilometry
Optical profilometry is a non-contact metrology technique for surface analysis and topographical characterisation. The technique provides 2D and 3D images of surfaces as well as numerous surface texture parameters such as Ra-, Sa- and Sz-values. See also our new digital microscope that works as an excellent tool for surface roughness measurements as well as for microstructural studies.
Typical measurements include:
- Surface roughness
- Step height/depth
- Dimensions
- 3D imaging
